DS106 Daily Create #tdc2392

Today’s Daily Create was to make a political button for an imaginary candidate. I decided to make this imaginary candidate Lorelai Gilmore from Gilmore Girls. I do not know why, but as soon as I saw this daily create I knew I had to make it about her. I decided to use wackybuttons.com to make my button. I have used this website before to make buttons for Relay For Life, so there was not much I needed to newly learn for this. I played around with the background a bit. I’m still not crazy about this one, but it was the best one I found. I then wanted to find a quote Lorelai actually said. I decided to take this quote from a conversation between Lorelai and her mother, Emily. I thought this completely embodied Lorelai, and has a link to the government. There were way too many words to put on this button. However, I loved this quote so I decided to use it anyway.
