For this activity, I decided to a GIF from Mama Mia. I know it is kind of cliche, but is honestly one of my favorite movies/ plays and with the Mama Mia 2 coming out next week, I thought this would be appropriate. I struggled with this more than I thought. First I had to pick a scene which is harder than expected. I really wanted to capture Sophie’s confusion when all three of her possible dads show up. This is where this GIF is from. The whole point in the movie is that Sophie is trying to figure out who her dad is; she thinks she will know who he is when she sees him, but in reality she does not. For this, I used the GIF maker app on my phone. From there, I sent the GIF to myself. The hardest part of this was figuring out how to upload this into WordPress. I ended up looking up how, as every time I tries uploading it, it only showed one frame. To actually upload a GIF you have to select “full size” under Attachment Display Settings, which was actually very easy. Overall, this was a fun assignment and gave me an excuse to re-watch this movie!
